Almost 100 people were left standing on the steps of the iconic building as smoke billowed out of the vehicle.
The crowds of guests and tourists surrounding the groom and the bride watched on in astonishment as rally driver Ken Block did donuts on the cobbles of the famous central London square with Le Blanc in the passenger seat.
A safety unit then had to be called to jump start the car to continue shooting the scenes, while a large crowd had gathered by the time the issue was fixed.
