Brussels attacks kill at least 31 at Zaventem airport, Maelbeek subways

Bombs exploded at the Brussels airport and one of the city's metro stations.
At least 31 people killed and wounding dozens, as a European capital was again locked down amid heightened security threats.

The Brussels mayor said another explosion struck Maelbeek metro station an hour later with 20 people killed.
"What we feared has happened," Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel told reporters. "In this time of tragedy, this black moment for our country, I appeal to everyone to remain calm but also to show solidarity."

Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel asked people in the city to remain indoors as Brussels came to a standstill and armed police and emergency services moved into the streets. Officials raised the terrorist threat to its maximum level.

"ISIS is under increasing pressure in Europe," said Brian Levin, a Cal State San Bernardino professor and terrorism expert, using an acronym for Islamic State. "And timing-wise, particularly in Europe, this is speeding up their schedule of attacks. Frankly, there are more terror networks in Belgium and France, and ability to hide within a population that is supportive of them. ... Belgium is ground zero for ISIS networks in Europe."

US President Barack Obama called the blasts "outrageous attacks against innocent people".

The metro shut down after the attacks, as did the airport. More than 200 flights to Brussels were diverted or canceled, according to flight tracking service Flightradar24.

Donald Trump has called off a rally in Chicago

Donald Trump has called off a rally in Chicago.A Donald Trump rally in Chicago had to be called off among scenes of violence and chaos unparalleled in the recent history of American political campaigning.

Hundreds of protesters assembled at the venue at the University of Illinois at Chicago hours before Mr Trump was due. “MrTrump just arrived in Chicago and after meeting with law enforcement has determined that for the safety of all of the tens of thousands of people that have gathered in and around the arena, tonight’s rally will be postponed to another date” said statement issued by his campaign.

Before the rally was even due to start, the scene for the evening was set as protesters inside the pavilion vented their opposition to the presidential candidate’s positions on immigration, race and other issues where his rhetoric has proven divisive.

The clashes began more than an hour before the event was due to start, and continued after it was cancelled, minutes after Mr Trump was to have appeared. One protester, student Ali Alhechimi told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: "This is a victory. This is an absolute victory.

I want to thank everyone who showed up." "I represent a large group of people that have a lot of anger," he said. "There is tremendous anger out there on both sides" said Mr Trump.

US government claim Apple hits back at corrosive

Apple create software to unlock an iPhone used by an attacker in a mass shooting last year. The FBI’s claim that it needs Apple to unlock the iPhone of San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook “horsesh!t,” the U.S. Justice Department hit back in a court filing according to BBC news.

Apple’s general counsel Bruce Sewell told reporters on a conference call: “The tone of the brief reads like an indictment”. He said: “Everybody should beware because it seems like disagreeing with the Department of Justice means you must be evil and anti-American, nothing could be further from the truth.” FBI Director James Comey testified before Congress that “there was a mistake” made when the FBI asked San Bernardino County, which owned the phone, to reset the password for an account tied to Syed Farook, who along with his wife killed 14 people in the December 2 shootings.

Authorities were hoping that way to recover at least some of the stored data even while the phone was locked. Apple said “This case is about the Department of Justice and the FBI seeking through the courts a dangerous power that Congress and the American people have withheld.”

International Energy Agency said Oil price may have shift

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has said oil prices are stabilising and could even begin to rise again now sees signs that the market may be balancing quicker than previously thought. The west’s energy adviser said: "Oil prices may have “bottomed out”.

Oil prices have plummeted 70% since June 2014, falling as low as $27 per barrel earlier this year. The IEA said in a monthly report after a spectacular 2015, growth in global demand was slowing - with India and the Middle East being rare pockets of improvement.

The IEA, which coordinates energy policies of industrialised nations, said it now believed non-Opec output would fall by 750,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2016, compared with its previous estimate of 600,000 bpd. The IEA said: "Meanwhile, Iran’s return to the market has been less dramatic than the Iranians said it would be; in February we believe that production increased by 220,000 bpd and, provisionally, it appears that Iran’s return will be gradual."

Though the IEA still expects supplies to continue to outstrip demand until 2017, the agency now sees lower prices having a bigger effect on US shale companies. China, the world's second-biggest source of demand, will see growth of only 330,000 bpd this year, well below the 10-year average of 440,000 bpd. "For prices, there may be light at the end of what has been a long, dark tunnel, but we cannot be precisely sure when in 2017 the oil market will achieve the much-desired balance. It is clear that the current direction of travel is the correct one, although with a long way to go," the IEA added.

Everyday exercise Can lower risk of Alzheimer's disease

University of California, Los Angeles said:"Grey matter houses all of the neurons in your brain, so its volume can reflect neuronal healt." Alzheimer's disease are the most common early symptom is difficulty in remembering recent events (short-term memory loss).

As the disease advances, symptoms can include problems with language, disorientation (including easily getting lost), mood swings, loss of motivation, not managing self care, and behavioural issues. The disease process is associated with plaques and tangles in the brain. Exercise can increase the level of grey matter volume in key brain areas which are responsible for memory, enabling the active adults to protect their brain from cognitive decline.

People with highest calorie expenditure had larger grey matter volumes in key areas on initial brain scans and were half as likely to have developed Alzheimer's disease five years later according to the findings. Mr Raji also said that "Rather than wait for memory loss, we might consider putting the patient on an exercise programme and then rescan later to see if there are any changes in the brain." the team examined the data obtained over five years from nearly 876 people 65 year or older participating in the multicenter Cardiovascular Health Study according to the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease.
